In September 2008, the city of Košice submitted project Interface with a grand vision to receive the title of European Capital of Culture 2013. The city ultimately won the project and a few months later, organisation Košice – European Capital of Culture, n.o. was founded in order to organise the individual project activities.
In 2015, the organisation changed its name to Creative Industry Košice and its team continues to facilitate, organise and support quality-driven cultural events, networking and education until this day.
Creative Industry Košice celebrated 10 years of its existence on 23rd of December 2018. Happy birthday!
