UNESCO Creative Cities Network is offering a month-long residency programme in Changsha, China.
This modern city with almost 7-million inhabitants will welcome 5 young artists from creative cities, including Košice, as part of the art programme ‘‘Experience Changsha‘‘.
If you like to express yourself through digital arts, new arts, architecture, video, public art, performance and you like the theme of the city, sustainable development, community, creativity and cultural heritage, don’t think twice and apply!
The residency programme for young artists offers aside from new connections and amazing experiences, the opportunity to think critically about your own concepts more widely, reevaluate on your art stances or the perceptions in Eastern culture, technical support with the realisation of concept and the possibility to permanently display your work in Changsha Media Arts Hall.
The open call is open to artists who are younger than 35 and who have at least two-year long experience with media arts, whether it was during their studies or their professional career. The deadline for submitting a project for the art residency in Changsha is 27.1.2019.
