Everyone talks about it but you still don’t get the meaning of media art? No worries!
Media art is a type of art reflecting the current era we live in; it encompasses artworks created through the use of new technologies such as computer graphics, the Internet, videogames, 3D print, even biotechnology.

Your confusion is over! This November will host one of the greatest festivals of media art in Kasárne/Kulturpark, Košice. Right there, you’ll uncover what the Polish curator, Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka has got to say on media art communication during Art & Tech Conference on 21. November 2019.
Who?
Agnieszka is a media art specialist, curator and also one of the founders of the first institution of media art in Wroclaw, Poland, WRO. In the past, she used media art to help parents with children or people with perception difficulties. Currently, she is working on the preparation of the Japanese SIAF (Sapporo International Art Festival) 2020 on the topic Of Roots and Clouds.
Why?
Košice has obtained an acknowledged UNESCO title based on the Creative Cities Network membership. Our city is represented worldwide as UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts. As a massive thanks to this honour, a non-profit organization Creative Industry Košice has (for the four years now!) held a six-day event for wide public from artistic and tech fields where its representatives may meet and begin their cooperation.
