Art & Tech Days is a festival of media art, technology, and digital culture in Košice that combines art with technology. It is a profile event of the Košice – UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts project, in which Creative Industry Košice represents the city of Košice.
The festival aims to bring together the innovative potential of creativity and digital technology through an international conference, practical workshops, audio-visual performances, interactive installations and exhibitions, art events, and networking activities.
The seventh year brings the theme of Augmented Humanity. The rich festival program is full of world-class speakers who offer experiences from a wide range of disciplines and different perspectives on how technology, innovation, and creativity expand and improve possibilities in the areas of quality of life, communication, and cooperation. Visitors can look forward to two conference days, a series of workshops, meet-ups, and accompanying events in media art exhibitions, and a unique gaming performance.
How can technology support creativity and improve our expression and communication? How can we explore the boundaries between humans and machines, physical and virtual reality, or individual and collective? This year, we bring you a rich and diverse program of lectures, workshops, performances, and exhibitions that challenge the limits of our perception of reality and inspire human imagination.
The festival will be held from October 16 to 20, 2023, in Kasárne/Kulturpark in Košice.
